Benn produced a more measured performance before finding an explosive finish to stop Radic in one round

Conor Benn produced a dramatic knockout win over Lukas Radic in the first round at The 02.

The exciting 19-year-old dropped his Czech opponent heavily with a series of hooks and there were a few worrying moments before Radic clambered to his feet.

Benn, son of the former world champion Nigel, continued the unbeaten start to his professional career with an impressive third win.

After receiving criticism for his reckless approach, Benn displayed more discipline from the start, carefully picking his punches and controlling the range.

Hiding behind a high guard, Radic tried to evade the menacing youngster, but a right hand blasted through his defences and Benn then floored him with a lightning left hook.

Radic clambered to his feet and Benn, showing his father's ruthless instincts, ended the fight in explosive fashion.
