Mayweather vs McGregor: UFC Performance Institute opens its doors to Sky Sports

Sky Sports takes a behind-the-scenes look at the UFC's brand new Performance Institute in Las Vegas ahead of Conor McGregor's fight with Floyd Mayweather

Sky Sports reporter Fraser Dainton has been given a guided tour of the UFC's new state-of-the-art Performance Institute in Las Vegas ahead of Conor McGregor's much-anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor will cross sports to take on Mayweather in a boxing match in Las Vegas on August 26, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and the reigning UFC lightweight champion has been training for the bout at the newly-built centre in Nevada.

The 30,000-square feet training facility, which opened eight weeks ago at a cost of around £11m, boasts a strength and condition floor, hypoxic laboratory, underwater treadmill and both an octagon and boxing ring for McGregor and other fighters to hone their skills.
