Team Derby secured the inaugural National Badminton League title in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 win over Loughborough Sport in the Championship Final at the K2 Crawley.
The title race went down to the final match, with Derby twice recovering after falling behind.
Rajiv Ouseph's side refused to buckle and Germany star Karin Schnaase sealed the crown with a 3-0 triumph over Linda Zetchiri in the final singles fixture.
Derby earlier saw off University of Nottingham Sport 3-2 in the semi-finals to set up the showdown with Loughborough, who thrashed highly-fancied Surrey Smashers 5-0 in their last-four clash.
