Eric Pang has backed the University of Nottingham to challenge for the National Badminton League title after joining them for the new season.

The Dutch men's singles national champion will bring 15 years of top tournament experience to the team, who will attempt to improve on last year's third-place finish.

“I am looking forward to playing for University of Nottingham Badminton in the NBL,” said Pang.

“I think we have a great team and one that can go for the title”.

Pang, a former World No 12, has won titles across Europe, including the 2012 Dutch Open and 2014 Croatian International singles crowns.
