Kevin Durant led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 113-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs and and a place in the NBA Western Conference finals.

Durant's tally of 37 points, nine rebounds and two assists earned him a standing ovation and took the Thunder to an unassailable 4-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

The Golden State Warriors, who won all three regular-season fixtures against Oklahoma, await in the finals.

"We're not done yet," Durant said. "We have to keep improving. Keep getting better and get ready for the next series."

"We just came out with great intensity," said Russell Westbrook, who finished with 28 points. "We knew how important this game was. They've been a great team for years."

The game could yet prove the last of a stellar career for Tim Duncan, the Spurs' 40-year-old who is yet to decide if he will play on.
