Sir Bradley Wiggins will end a five-and-a-half-year stint with Team Sky at Paris-Roubaix on Sunday. Here, we look back at the highs and lows of his time with the team...
2009: Agrees to join Team Sky from Garmin-Slipstream, the team with which he had finished third at the Tour de France earlier that year.
January 2010: Presented as a founding member and leader of Team Sky at the squad’s launch in London.

June 2012: Wins the Criterium du Dauphine following a dominant performance.
July 2012: Becomes the first British winner of the Tour de France, beating team-mate Froome into second place and Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali into third. The victory is partly marred by a breakdown in his relationship with Froome, who attacked Wiggins on a mountainous 11th stage.
January 2013: Relationship with Froome deteriorates further as Froome publicly states he wants to lead Team Sky at the 2013 Tour.
May 2013: Targets overall victory at the Giro d’Italia but is forced to quit the race after 12 stages due to a combination of injury and illness.
May 2013: Ruled out of Tour due to a knee injury sustained at the Giro. Froome goes on to win the race in his absence.
September 2013: Wins the Tour of Britain for the first time following a closely contested race.
December 2013: Knighted for services to cycling in recognition of his Tour de France win and subsequent gold medal in the London 2012 Olympic time trial.
