Reigning All-Ireland champions Dublin have secured seven awards in this year's GAA GPA All-Stars sponsored by Opel.

In a list that includes nine first time winners - the most since 10 were nominated in 2012 - Dublin secured four in defence, one at midfield and two in attack.

Defeated All-Ireland champions Kerry come next in the pecking order with four. Brendan Kealy, Shane Enright, Anthony Maher and Donnchadh Walsh all receive awards for what is the first time.

The remaining awards go to Mayo duo Lee Keegan and Aidan O'Shea, Monaghan's Conor McManus and Tyrone's Mattie Donnelly meaning a total of five teams are represented in the stellar line up.

No 2014 winners are included in the 2015 line up.

GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghail said: "I fully expect these accolades will fuel the players' hunger for more awards rather than sate their appetite and I look forward to seeing them in pursuit of more honours with both their clubs and counties."

Jack McCaffrey was named football player of the year after starring in the Dubs' All-Ireland success, with Mayo's Diarmuid O'Connor receiving the young player award.

Kilkenny's star forward TJ Reid picked up the hurling award, with Waterford's Tadhg De Búrca named young player of the year.
