All-Ireland champions Galway receive 14 nominations for Hurling All-Stars

All-Ireland and Leinster champions Galway lead the way with 14 nominations in this year's PwC All-Star awards.
The Tribesmen have been rewarded for an outstanding 2017 where they won the National League and Leinster Championship before lifting the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the first time since 1988.
Beaten All-Ireland finalists Waterford have received 11 nominations, with Cork (8), Tipperary (5), Wexford (4), Kilkenny (2) and Clare (1) completing the list.
The team of the year will be presented with their awards at Dublin's Covention Centre on November 3.
Galway's Joe Canning and Waterford duo Jamie Barron and Kevin Moran have been nominated for hurler of the year, which will be voted on exclusively by inter-county players.
Shortlisted for the young hurler of the year award are Cork's Mark Coleman, Waterford's Conor Gleeson and Galway's Conor Whelan.
