Redding led home Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami and Swiss Thomas Luthi to extend his lead to 38 points.
The 20-year-old started from second on the grid and swept past Nakagami at the first bend to take the lead.
Nakagami battled back and hit the front with seven laps remaining but Redding reclaimed the lead three laps later when the Italtrans Racing rider ran wide.
MotoGP-bound Redding, whose Marc VDS bike was decked out with a special Union Jack paint job for the weekend, then managed to keep Nakagami at bay to claim his third win of the season.
"To get a home win is amazing and it has done wonders for the championship as well," Redding told the BBC.
"The crowd were brilliant. The atmosphere pushed me on and kept me calm."
