Second City Saviour vows to leave WWE with title

Just days before WWE's Money In The Bank event, CM Punk announced to the world that he will walk out of this Sunday's Money In The Bank event in Chicago as WWE Champion. Two weeks on from verbally bashing WWE chairman Mr McMahon on live television, CM Punk returned to Raw to renegotiate his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Although the Chairman had agreed to all of Punk's earlier demands in the wake of a threat by current Champion John Cena, the preachy Superstar still wasn't satisfied. Punk insisted that he also receive his own private jet, that he star in his own movie and that he main event next year's WrestleMania. Although McMahon appeared grudgingly prepared to sign, Cena brought negotiations to a shuddering halt. The WWE Champion confronted Punk and things quickly devolved. After listening to Punk deride him for becoming everything he hates, Cena clocked his Money in the Bank opponent, who wisely snatched the contract from McMahon and fled from the ring. He took to the mic atop of the entrance ramp and once again unleashed a tirade against Cena, McMahon and fans watching around the world. Punk reiterated that he will win the WWE Title this Sunday night and leave the company as WWE Champion before tearing up his unsigned contract.
