Five-round non-title fight to headline UFC for the first time

UFC will return to England in November when Chris Leben clashes with Mark Munoz in Birmingham. UFC 138 will be held at the LG Arena on November 5, with the Leben v Mark Muñoz the first five-round non-title fight to headline the series. "Two of the middleweight division's heaviest hitters will go to war in the UFC's first ever non-title 5 round main event as the 'Filipino Wrecking Machine' Mark Munoz takes on Chris 'The Crippler' Leben," said UFC president Dana White. Munoz has established himself as a middleweight contender in his last outing, beating Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Demian Maia by unanimous decision for his third victory in a row. However Leben will be looking to put an end to Munoz's winning streak. "The Crippler" was last seen in the octagon at UFC 132 where he made short work of PRIDE veteran Wanderlei Silva, knocking him out in just 27 seconds. As well as Leben against Munoz, British prospect Brad Pickett will be taking on Renan Barão, a Brazilian fighter who has gone undefeated in his last 26 fights.
