Today's highlights on Sky Sports

Live Action

Tennis
Davis Cup final
3.00pm, Sky Sports Xtra
It's a Latin affair in Buenos Aires as Argentina take on a Rafael Nadal-less Spain in front of what is sure to be a partisan crowd at the Islas Malvinas Stadium. The Argentine side features Jose Acasuso and Agustin Calleri, who are widely expected to be favoured by the hardcourt surface in use. Friday's programme sees the first two singles rubbers played.

Cricket
South Africa v Bangladesh
8.30am, Sky Sports 1
The third day of the first Test in Bloemfontein opens with Bangladesh in all sorts of trouble, after South Africa bowled them out for only 153 and forced them to follow on. Skipper Graeme Smith will no doubt be looking for a quick conclusion.

Australia v New Zealand
12.00am, Sky Sports 1
The third day of the first Test between the trans-Tasman rivals continues in Brisbane with New Zealand looking for a rare Test win on Australian soil.

Rugby Union
Gloucester v Bristol
8.00pm, Sky Sports 1 & HD1
Passion will be the order of the day at a packed Kingsholm for what is easily predicted as a full-blooded Westcountry derby. Bottom side Bristol come in on the back of their first win of the Guinness Premiership season but face a tough task against a fired-up Cherry and White outfit who are winners of six of their last seven.

Boxing
Matthew Marsh v Rocky Dean
10.00pm, Sky Sports 1
A ringside view from the comfort of your armchair - we're live from the legendary York Hall in Bethnal Green as Marsh attempts to thwart Dean for the third straight encounter after two previous points successes in British bantamweight championship bouts.

Football
Northern Ireland v Wales
7.30pm, Sky Sports 2
The Sky Sports Victory Shield continues with game five of six taking place at Glenavon's Mourneview Park. Northern Ireland bounced back from a 6-0 hiding by England to draw 2-2 with Scotland last time out while Wales have been beaten in both games so far.

Golf
U.B.S. Hong Kong Open
6.00am, Sky Sports 3
We're at the Hong Kong Golf Club for the second day of this co-sanctioned Asian and European Tour event. Richard Sterne shot 64 on the opening day to take a share of the lead with home favourite Liang-Wen Chong, seeking to become the first Asian to win the event in a decade.
