Sky Sports is marking International Women's Day with a host of special programming to go with unrivalled coverage of women's sport.

As part of its commitment to women's sport, Sky Sports are celebrating Wednesday, March 8 with plenty of programming to look back on the memorable moments, while the video at the top of the page will remind you of our fantastic year of women's sport.

Highlights include June's Women's Cricket World Cup in England and golf's Solheim Cup in August - stand-outs in any sporting calendar alongside a year-round commitment to female sport.

Katie Taylor has made her mark in the professional ranks and will continue her journey

Katie Taylor continues her quest for a professional world title to go alongside her amateur domination while in cricket and netball there is coverage of England's internationals through the year.

England's rugby team will reach the culmination of their Six Nations bid in March, while in April the first ever World Cup of Gymnastics promises to a memorable occasion at London's O2 Arena.

The Vitality Netball Superleague will continue through the regular season before the new-look 10-team league reaches it's conclusion with Finals weekend in June - back-to-back days of semi-final and Grand Final action.

England look for a first cricket World Cup success since 1993 when they host the ICC World Cup, the highlight of a busy summer of cricket that in August features he Kia Women's Super League.

Golf has a jam-packed month with the women's Open coming up just a few of weeks before Europe attempt to reclaim the Solheim Cup from the United States in Iowa.

On Wednesday, Sky Sports Mix will dedicate their channel to women's sport while our Video On Demand area will look back on some memorable matches, fights and rounds as well as feature content including Elise Christie, Tracey & Gary Neville and the England Women's Team

Jane Dougall and the Sportswomen team begin the coverage on Tuesday's edition of the show with a special feature reflecting on this year's theme - #BeBoldForChange - as we ask high-profile sportswomen what they would change about their respective sports.

We'll look back on a busy weekend of sport including Taylor's latest victory, England's performances in the 'SheBelieves Cup' in America, which included a memorable win over the World Cup holders USA.
