Frontman has faith in Wenger
Ash frontman Tim Wheeler told
Soccer AM he's happy with Arsene Wenger's dealings in the transfer market.
The Arsenal fan - who revealed he names his guitars after Arsenal players past and present - says he has total face in the Gunners boss, despite some fans questioning his judgement.
In fact he has so much faith in the former Monaco coach that he even managed to convince Arsenal legend Ian Wright that his doubts were unfounded!
"I've total in face him," he told Helen and Max. "I met Ian Wright a while back and he was a bit concerned but I was like 'it's going to be alright, don't worry'!"
Ash, who formed way back in 1992, are currently in the middle of an A-Z tour and will be playing at different venues across the UK in alphabetical order!
Needless to say but it means there are more than a couple of bizarre town names on their tour list and none more so than Zennor!
Band members Mark Hamilton and Rick Murray also joined Wheeler on the orange sofa and they were all happy to chat football with Helen and Max who had lots of questions for them, including...
Which current Arsenal player shares a name with one of Tim's guitars?
Can Mark's Aston Villa side break into the top four?
And... how do they manage to follow all the football from their new homes in New York?
