Former World champion Rod Harrington has tipped James Wade to pick up his first victory of the Premier League season against Adrian Lewis on Thursday.
The defending champion is yet to triumph in this year's tournament, but Harrington reckons the 26-year-old will get his season back on track with a 8-6 win in the fourth round at Exeter's West Point arena.
The Sky Sports pundit also expects Phil Taylor will make light work of Raymond van Barneveld and walk away from with an 8-2 win. The Power has been in typically unstoppable form so far with three consecutive victories and Harrington sees a fourth win on the bounce for the 15-time World champion.
Harrington is also expecting Simon 'The Wizard' Whitlock to overpower Ronnie Baxter 8-5 and Mervyn King and Terry Jenkins to tie their match 7-7. He also thinks 'The Wizard' will work his magic and throw the highest checkout of the evening with a score of 156.
He said: "The Whyte & Mackay Premier League has made a really exciting start and we've had three great weeks so far.
"The standard is high, the crowds have seen lots of 180s and the players really stepped it up with their finishing in Belfast, so expect more of the same this week."
