Jamal Murray poured in a career-high 48 points as the Nuggets beat the Celtics

Jamal Murray poured in a career-best 48 points as the Denver Nuggets beat the Boston Celtics 115-107 to continue their excellent start to the season.

The Nuggets point guard's 48-point haul came in 38 minutes. He connected on 19-of-30 of his shots, including 5-of-11 from three-point land, and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

Murray mixed up-and-under moves to get to the rim with a delicious second-quarter floater that banked in off the glass.

He grabbed 19 of his 48 points in the fourth quarter alone, courtesy of fadeaway jumpers, pull-up three-pointers and several strong finishes in the paint, as the Nuggets improved their record to 9-1.
