Danilo Gallinari poured in 32 points as the Los Angeles Clippers survived a late rally to beat the Dallas Mavericks.
The sharpshooting Italian forward drained 11 of his 16 shots (68.8 per cent), including 3-of-6 from three-point land, to enable the Clippers to snap a four-game losing streak.
Gallinari found his range early in the game, hitting his first three-pointer off Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's kick-out pass with 7:14 remaining in the first quarter.
'The Rooster' then blew by JJ Barea for a baseline slam before delighting the crowd with a no-look pass to the trailing Montrezl Harrell who hammered home a dunk.
In the third quarter, excellent Clippers ball movement gave Gallinari an open three from the top of the key. He then finished off a fast break with a lay-up, resisting contact from Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic.
With the game on the line in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter, Gallinari hit another three and a mid-range jumper to get the Clippers back on terms. With 1:19 remaining, he cut to the basket to receive a Lou Williams' bounce pass and ice the game with a reverse dunk.
