Derrick Rose hit the game-winning shot to cap a 31-point showing as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
The Timberwolves trailed 110-106 before the former MVP scored eight of Minnesota's final 10 points over the closing 3:25.
The game-winner came after Taj Gibson stole the ball from Devin Booker with 25 seconds to go when the Suns had a chance to break a 114-all tie.
Rose's performance was the latest in a remarkable season in which he has reestablished himself as an offensive threat after injuries appeared to have all but ended his NBA career.
The 30-year-old's comeback has captured the hearts of fans, with Rose currently in position to be voted a starter in the upcoming NBA All-Star game. This moment won't have done his chances any harm.
