The game-winner came after Taj Gibson stole the ball from Devin Booker with 25 seconds to go when the Suns had a chance to break a 114-all tie.

Rose's performance was the latest in a remarkable season in which he has reestablished himself as an offensive threat after injuries appeared to have all but ended his NBA career.

Sunday night's scores

  • Charlotte Hornets 95-120 Indiana Pacers
  • Phoenix Suns 114-116 Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Los Angeles Clippers 103-95 San Antonio Spurs

The 30-year-old's comeback has captured the hearts of fans, with Rose currently in position to be voted a starter in the upcoming NBA All-Star game. This moment won't have done his chances any harm.
