Embiid produced a dominant display as the Eastern Conference semi-final series switched to Philadelphia after the teams split the opening pair of games in Toronto.

Embiid posted 33 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Sixers to an emphatic 116-95 victory that earned them a 2-1 series lead.

The Sixers' All-Star center connected on nine of his 18 shots, including 3-of-4 from three-point range. He also made 12 of his 13 free throws.

Embiid, who suffered a bout of gastroenteritis that limited him to 12 points in the 76ers' Game 2 win, punctuated his superb Game 3 display with a rim-shaking slam with 5:38 left in the game.

With the Sixers leading 104-84, Ben Simmons dribbled up court in transition and drove inside the Raptors' three-point line. He flipped the ball back out to the perimeter to the trailing Embiid, whose head-fake flummoxed the onrushing Marc Gasol and opened up a clear driving lane to the Raptors' rim.

Speaking on court after the game, Embiid said: "Obviously I wasn't sick today so that definitely helped. I just played my game, not forcing anything, getting the ball to my team-mates, moving the ball.

Asked about the 27-14 fourth quarter that sealed Philly's win, Embiid said: "We already had an advantage. We just wanted to put our foot down. We did that by getting stops and making shots."
