Netball: Watch New Zealand v England live on Sky Sports
Friday 24 October 2014 15:59, UK
Sky Sports will show England's two-game Test Series against New Zealand live.
Anna Mayes’ squad move on from their double defeat to Australia with a two-Test clash against world No. 2 side New Zealand.
Like England, the Silver Ferns have lost to the Aussie Diamonds recently, suffering a 4-0 series whitewash in the Constellation Cup earlier this month.
Both sides will be desperate to get back to winning ways which sets the scene for a pair of colossal battles of speed and agility between some of the world’s most famous netballers.
When the pair last met at, this summer's Commonwealth Games, the result came down to the dying seconds, with the Ferns nicking a one-goal victory to reach the final. Revenge will surely be on the England players' minds.
Both nations are fighting injury issues, with England’s ongoing search to find replacements for captain Pamela Cookey and wing attack Sasha Corbin at the forefront.
New Zealand, meanwhile, will be missing captain and stalwart defender Casey Kopua, who suffered an injury in the Constellation Cup, and long-range hot shot Maria Tuataia, who is out with a foot injury.
But that means we could see exciting youngsters Helen Housby, Sam Cook and Ameliaranne Wells get some court time.
