Loughborough Lightning have added England international Kadeen Corbin to their 2016 Netball Superleague squad.
Corbin, who has been capped 34 times by her country, follows her sister Sasha to the Lightning who joined the side earlier this year.
The 24-year-old shooter is currently in the middle of intensive rehab after having knee surgery in September, but says she is excited about what the future holds working under head coach Karen Atkinson.
"I'm really looking forward to joining Loughborough Lightning this season I'm excited to work with Karen again, and Olivia Murphy. I know they will continue to help improve my game," said Corbin.
"My main focus this season is to come back stronger when I'm deemed ready to take the court again after surgery. However the new look Lightning squad is really exciting and I can't wait to get involved."
Atkinson confirmed her pleasure with the signing, adding:
"We are delighted that Kadeen will be joining the Lightning squad for the 2016 season. After undergoing knee surgery a few months ago, she has been pragmatic about her potential return to Super League.
"Her rehab has been going exceptionally well and although she will definitely miss the start of the season we are excited about the impact she could have on the squad when she returns to the court."
