Caroline Barker sits down with Team Northumbria's mother and daughter double act

Team Northumbria may have slipped to a fifth Vitality Superleague defeat of the season, but Sky Sports Netball caught up with the Kiwi mother and daughter making their mark in the North East.

Despite losing to Manchester Thunder on Monday night there were again plenty of positives for Northumbria, despite remaining at the foot of the table.

Injuries have taken their toll on the team but young players continue to make their mark, Chiara Semple and Georgia Rowe have made an impact, but it is the New Zealander in charge who is setting the benchmark.

Head Coach Te Aroha Keenan and her daughter Tuaine Keenan, the Northumbria captain, sat down with Caroline Barker sits down with Team Northumbria ahead of the match against Thunder.

The pair have been in the North East for a couple of years and they discuss how things have progressed as well as the family dynamics in a team environment/
