League leaders Loughborough Lightning powered their way past defending champions Surrey Storm in the best of Saturday's Vitality Superleague action.
Tania Hoffman's Storm suffered a 59-52 defeat to unstoppabe Loughborough at Surrey Sports Park and now face a battle to make Finals weekend in June.
The two-time defending champions started the season with six successive wins but have struggled for consistency in recent weeks to open the door for Team Bath who can join them level in fourth spot with a win over second-placed Wasps in the Monday Night action, live on Sky Sports.
Lightning have now won 13 of their 14 games this season and moved six points clear of Wasps.
Third-placed Manchester Thunder thumped Severn Stars 63-42 as they kept pace with Wasps, who they meet in Week 15.
Sirens still have slim hopes of a place in the top four after a crushing 6-47 victory at Hertfordshire Mavericks to leapfrog their opponents.
On Monday night the live Sky Sports action continues on Mix when red-hot Wasps travel to Bath looking to keep up their form that has seen them secure an appearance at Finals weekend in their debut season.
But Bath returned to winning ways against Surrey last week to keep their top four hopes alive and Anna Stembridge could start the game knowing a win will draw her team level on points with fourth place Storm.
The action started on Friday when the league's bottom two team clashed in Newcastle. Team Northumbria secured their third win of the season thanks to a 60-48 victory over Celtic Dragons to seal their second win of the season having beaten Sirens in week nine.
You can follow the next instalment of the Vitality Superleague on Sky Sports Mix on Monday when Team Bath host Wasps from 7.30pm
