England Roses squad selected for Quad Series

Ten of the England Roses' Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning squad have been selected for the upcoming Netball Quad Series.

Head Coach Tracey Neville has named a 14-strong touring squad (including two training partners), which will be captained by Ama Agbeze with Jo Harten as vice-captain.

Sasha Corbin is recalled to the squad having missed the Commonweath Games and she will add to the squad's attacking options, but with Eboni Beckford-Chambers and Beth Cobden ruled out there is a return for Layla Guscoth.

The Team Bath defender has not played for England in three years but will be part of the squad that play three games in New Zealand and Australia - all of which will be available on Sky Sports.

England secured their best finish in the Netball Quad Series earlier this year, finishing second behind the Samsung Australian Diamonds, and will be looking to build upon their momentum from their historic gold at the Commonwealth Games.

The England Roses squad for the Quad Series is as follows: Ama Agbeze (c), Jade Clarke, Kadeen Corbin, Sasha Corbin, Jodie Gibson, Layla Guscoth, Serena Guthrie, Jo Harten, Natalie Haythornwaite, Helen Housby, Geva Mentor and Chelsea Pitman.

Sunshine Series

Neville has named a 14-strong touring squad to face Jamaica in the three-match Sunshine Series this October.

Ama Agbeze will once again captain the team with Jade Clarke as vice-captain but a number of younger players have been given the opportunity to shine with Summer Artman, Eleanor Cardwell, George Fisher and Razia Quashie all added to the squad.

Natalie Pannagarry and Ella Clark are also rewarded for excellent seasons with Loughborough with a place in the party.
