Peace Proscovia will make her final appearance for defending British Fast5 All-Stars champions Loughborough Lightning before her move to Sunshine Coast Lightning in Australia.

After a stellar four years with Lightning, Proscovia will team up with long-bomb queen Renske Stoltz in purple before her move to Australia.

The South African will be making a welcome return to the competition after being named MVP 12 months ago.

Also making her first outing for Loughborough is Jess Shaw, the mid-courter with experience of the competition format having taken to the court for Team Bath last year.

Shaw believes the tournament will be a perfect way to for Proscovia to bid farewell to the Loughborough supporters, saying: "I think it's quite a nice way for her to go out and I think Peace will just go out there and show her fans what she's been doing all season."

After claiming victory in the inaugural event last year, Lightning made history as the first winners of the competition, scooping a £25,000 prize fund in the process.

Head coach Sara Bayman believes her side are gelling together nicely as they aim to lift the trophy once again this weekend.
