Netball: Tamsin Greenway and Pamela Cookey named in England squad for Malawi Tests

Tamsin Greenway has been named in the England Netball squad to face Malawi in two international matches this December.

The Surrey Storm player-coach won 51 caps for England over an eight-year period but stepped down from the international fold in 2012 to focus on personal projects before having her first child in 2013.

The 32-year-old Wing Attack's return to is good news for England coach Anna Mayes, who has faced selection issues in the WA position this year, with usual starter Sasha Corbin suffering with injury.

England have named their squad to face Malawi later this month and Tamsin Greenway has been called up to the squad for the first time since 2012.

Another notable inclusion in the squad is captain Pamela Cookey. The shooter, who recently signed for Greenway's Surrey Storm, was absent from England's Commonweath Games campaign this summer after sustaining an Achilles injury during the netball Superleague finals in April. 

Geva Mentor has the chance to win her 100th international cap during the Tests. The Melbourne Vixens defender was recently voted the world's best netballer and shone for the side in their recent International series with Australia and New Zealand.

England squad to face Malawi: Rosie Allison, Pamela Cookey, Kadeen Corbin, Rachel Dunn, Joanne Harten, Sara Bayman, Jade Clarke, Sasha Corbin, Tamsin Greenway, Ama Agbeze, Sam Cook, Geva Mentor, Stacey Francis, Eboni Beckford-Chambers.

During the International Series, England ‘A’ will also be in action for a pair of matches and the squad will be as follows;
