A look ahead to the new season of NFL Hard Knocks, featuring Stan Kroenke's LA Rams

This year Hard Knocks goes behind the scenes at the LA Rams training camp, giving NFL fans behind the scenes access to life as a professional football player.

With a move from St Louis to Los Angeles, as well as taking quarterback Jared Goff as the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, head coach Jeff Fisher and the Rams certainly have a lot of questions to answer in the run up to the season opener.

Speaking at NFL UK's summer bowl in July, Rams tight end Lance Kendricks said that they were the best choice for the show this year.

Osi Umenyiora is excited for Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants after off-season improvements.

"I think with the move, we had to do it. We were on schedule to do it a couple of years back but coach Fisher didn't want to do it right away (he took over in 2012).

"I think it'll be exciting. I think a lot of people are curious to see what we're going to do this year so I think it will be cool for people to get an inside scoop on what the Rams do and how we prepare."

The season opener gives viewers opportunity to see Goff both on and off field, and Kendricks believes the franchise has landed a quarterback of the future.

"He's been doing great. Myself, Jared and some of the other receivers have been working out at a local high school, running routes and getting the chemistry built.

"He's learning really fast. He's very poised, and very knowledgeable, and once he gets that confidence, he's going to be a great quarterback."

The show also features rookie of the year Todd Gurley getting a surprise birthday present, and pro bowl defensive tackle Aaron Donald showing his competitive nature off the field.
