Kerwood shoots into squad

Charlotte Kerwood is the 11th and final member of Britain's London 2012 shooting team.

Commonwealth champion included for women's trap in London

Charlotte Kerwood has been given the 11th and final place in the British shooting team for the London Olympics. The Sussex based triple Commonwealth Games gold medallist will compete in the women's trap event at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich. The addition of Kerwood brings the total number of athletes officially selected to Team GB for London 2012 to 183 across 15 sports with many hundreds more to come. Kerwood said: "I have been working very hard to achieve this and I'm looking forward to shooting well at the Games. It will be extra special to compete at home, with the support of Team GB fans behind us." Team leader Phil Scanlan added: "Charlotte brings will her a good deal of experience from Commonwealth and Olympic Games and will be aiming to produce her best on the Olympic stage this summer."
