Cheltenham Festival Day Four tips: Death Duty and Cue Card to restore faith
Friday 17 March 2017 16:33, UK
The last day of the Cheltenham Festival has arrived (sigh) and Lewis Jones has found a bet in each of the seven races.
CUE CARD will bring the house down at Prestbury Park if he comes home in front in the Gold Cup at 3:30 - and this could be his year.
There will be glorious scenes if the lovable 10-year-old finally gets his name on the blue riband event, none more so than a contingent of lads from Essex at my Cheltenham lodgings who have been backing the horse all season for this race.
Cue Card is the reason they bit the racing bug when he won the Champion Bumper six years ago. They are Cue Card's barmy army - if you see grown men in the stands with Cue Card ties and pocket squares in floods of tears, then Cue Card will have delivered. Good luck lads.
DEATH DUTY is rumoured to be Gordon Elliott's best chance of the entire Festival, which is very much worth taking note of. He looks tailor made for the Albert Bartlett at 2:50.
CHARLI PARCS fluffed his lines at Kempton last time out, but I'm willing to give him another chance for Nicky Henderson in the Triumph Hurdle at 1:30.
Sam Waley-Cohen is good for a few lbs in amateur races and BLACK THUNDER looks overpriced in the Foxhunters at 4:10.
AIR HORSE ONE might be the answer in the County Hurdle at 2:10 while DADSINTROUBLE has been well supported in the Martin Pipe at 4:50 - he'll do nicely.
Hopefully, DANDRIDGE can go one better this year in the Grand Annual after finishing a close second 12 months ago. This has been his target all season and I'll think he'll win.

*The points system is a way of calculating profit and should give you a good idea of how confident the tipster is about the selection is (1 lowest, 5 highest). Whatever your normal stake size is multiply that by the point suggestion. We'll be posting the profit and loss results over the week on the daily tipping page.
