Easy Clonmel win for Vroum Vroum Mag

Vroum Vroum Mag ran out an effortless winner at Clonmel, but is unlikely to line up at Newbury's Hennessy Gold Cup according to trainer Willie Mullins.
The Mullins-trained mare was unbeaten in five starts for Willie Mullins last season and set about maintaining that streak of '1's against her name as she never came off the bridle on the way to taking the EBF TA Morris Memorial Mares' Chase.
Always travelling smoothly, she took the final fence as well as she had done the rest and eased clear to score by seven and a half lengths from Miss Dinamic.
"She jumped mostly economically, she maybe got a bit high behind over the second-last, but she did what she had to do," jockey Ruby Walsh told At The Races.
"She's so laid-back and so passive she never really catches her eye. When we brought her to Wexford for her first start, she bolted up, but she's no Flash Harry.
"There's not so many opportunities for mares over fences - there's not a whole pile out there. She'd have to improve, but it's all potential with her and you just don't know."
Vroum Vroum Mag is a 12/1 chance with Sky Bet for the Hennessy at the end of the month, but Mullins said he was "not keen" on a quick return to the fray.
"It's soon enough and I'd rather go down the mares' route," he told At The Races. "There's a mares' race at Carlisle and I'd rather go down that route.
"It looks as if she's come back as good as she was last year. I'll just keep stepping her up. She'll have to meet the big boys at some stage."
