Trainer Freddy Head reports Solow to have taken his prep race for Dubai World Cup night in his stride.

The top-class performer overcame trouble in running to extend his winning sequence to 10 with victory in the Prix Montjeu at Chantilly on Thursday.

He will now head to Meydan, where he will bid to repeat last year's triumph in the Dubai Turf.

Solow is odds-on to take the Group One over nine furlongs but he is likely to face stiff opposition from the Godolphin-owned Tryster, who is already a two-time winner there this winter.

"He's come out of the race very well. The horse showed in the race that he was well," said Head.
