Carlingford Lough back on Leopardstown Gold trail for John Kiely

John Kiely is preparing Carlingford Lough for an attempt to win the Irish Gold Cup for a third successive year at Leopardstown in February.
The 10-year-old, owned by JP McManus, took the prize in 2014 in the hands of Tony McCoy and was steered to victory by Barry Geraghty last season.
While Kiely has ruled out the Cheltenham Festival, the Punchestown Gold in April, which he won in April on his last outing, is likely to be on the agenda.
The Randox Health Grand National at Aintree is also another possible target.
"Hopefully he'll be back for the Irish Gold Cup," Kiely told At The Races.
"I don't imagine he'll go to Cheltenham. Frank (Berry, the owner's racing manager) will decide, but he doesn't enjoy Cheltenham. We'll keep him for Punchestown, maybe.
"He might be entered in the Grand National. We'll see how he is at the time."
