Presenting Percy could take in the BoyleSports Grand National Trial at Punchestown on his way to a tilt at the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

The seven-year-old provided trainer Pat Kelly and owner Philip Reynolds with their second successive victory in the Pertemps Final at Prestbury Park last March, following the success of Mall Dini 12 months earlier, and is enjoying another excellent season.

Presenting Percy made a successful debut over fences at Galway in October and while he fluffed his lines at Punchestown on his next appearance, he has since won the Porterstown Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse and last week's Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park to confirm himself a top-class performer.

Kelly said: "He's entered in the National Trial at Punchestown (February 11), along with Mall Dini, and we'll see if he's fresh enough for that. He came out of his last race good.

"I'd say we'll let him take his chance in the RSA as the owner is happy to go there and he wants better ground."
