Rachael Blackmore will be out of action for around a fortnight after a fall at Clonmel on Thursday.

Blackmore - who has enjoyed a breakthrough season - was riding Game Present for Henry de Bromhead when the five-year-old fell at the second flight in a two-and-a-half-mile maiden hurdle.

Runner-up in the Irish jump jockeys' championship, Blackmore had been due to be in action in France this weekend, riding Bapaume for Willie Mullins at Auteuil on Saturday and Rathvinden on Sunday.

An update from Dr Jennifer Pugh via the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Twitter feed read: "Rachael remains sore following some soft tissue damage to her chest from a fall at Clonmel yesterday.
