This afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield passes inspection
Friday 26 December 2014 12:28, UK
This afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield goes ahead as planned after the track passed an 8.30am inspection.
Clerk of the course Sophie Barton reports the track to be raceable following a precautionary check.
She said: "Racing goes ahead. The temperature is just above freezing and the frost has not got into the ground."
The news means all 12 scheduled Boxing Day meetings in the UK and Ireland take place with the feature action coming from Kempton.
