Fabricate set to represent Her Majesty in Queen's Vase

Michael Bell is looking forward to saddling his progressive young stayer Fabricate for Her Majesty in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot on Friday week.
The Makfi colt is owned and bred by the Queen, whose colours were carried to victory in the two-mile Group Three by Estimate in 2012.
Fabricate only made his racecourse debut in April when he was third in a Newbury maiden and has gone on to win his two subsequent starts at Salisbury and Haydock, both over a mile and a half.
Bell believes Fabricate fits the bill for a race of this unique nature, which takes place over two miles just for three-year-olds.
"He's hopefully running in the Queen's Vase. He's got a very good profile for the race, I thought," said the Newmarket trainer.
"He's improving with racing and he's got as good a chance as anything at getting the trip at this stage of his career and he's in very good form.
"He's a very nice prospect so hopefully he'll run the race of his life."
Bell has another horse owned by the Queen, Touchline, pencilled in for the Listed Sandringham Handicap on Wednesday.
Touchline won a Yarmouth maiden last August and showed plenty of promise on her seasonal debut when runner-up to Sperry at the Berkshire course in April.
"It's a race we've been lucky in in the past," he said.
Bell has won the race twice with Red Evie in 2006 and Moneycantbuymelove in 2009.
