Aidan O'Brien is assembling a formidable team for Glorious Goodwood at the end of this month.

While Sussex Stakes contender Gleneagles undoubtedly takes top billing in the Ballydoyle squad being prepared for the Qatar-sponsored festival, plenty of other talented individuals are set to make the journey from County Tipperary, including a trio of juveniles.

Last weekend's Superlative Stakes runner-up Air Vice Marshal, Windsor Castle scorer Washington DC and Coventry second Air Force Blue have all been pencilled in for two-year-old races at Goodwood, while Father Christmas and Diamondsandrubies are among the older brigade.

Coolmore's UK representative Kevin Buckley said: "At this moment in time it looks like Air Vice Marshal is likely to take his place in the Vintage Stakes and all being well Washington DC will line up in the Molecomb and Air Force Blue will go for the Richmond after finishing a strong second in the Coventry.

"It's highly likely that Father Christmas will take his chance in the Gordon Stakes, while Diamondsandrubies will go for the Nassau."

Of those unlikely to be travelled to Goodwood, Buckley added: "Found is just having a little break at the moment, but there is nothing wrong with her, as she is being lined up for quite a vigorous campaign from September onwards.

"There's no point racing these fillies against each other and putting all your eggs in one basket.
