Jane Chapple-Hyam is to send The Twisler back over to France on a recovery mission for a shot at the Prix Denisy.
After winning the Listed March Stakes in testing conditions at Goodwood in August, the three-year-old came unstuck when finishing fifth upped to Pattern company in the Group Two Prix Chaudenay at Longchamp earlier this month.
The Newmarket handler is to revert the former Charlie Hills-trained gelding to Listed level for a tilt at the extended one-mile-seven-furlong prize at Saint-Cloud on November 14.
She said: "We are very happy with The Twisler and the plan is to go over to Saint-Cloud for the Prix Denisy.
"We did consider the Irish November Handicap, but he is rated too high for that at 106 so the Prix Denisy looks the better option.
"The ground will also be soft in France by then."
