Barry Geraghty: My Tent Or Yours can challenge Faugheen in Champion Hurdle

Former Champion Hurdle runner-up 'in good shape' ahead of new campaign

Barry Geraghty feels My Tent Or Yours is the forgotten horse in the Champion Hurdle picture.

Nicky Henderson's eight-year-old missed last season with injury but the previous campaign saw him narrowly denied in the Champion by Jezki, also owned by JP McManus.

In his absence, Willie Mullins' Faugheen stamped his class on the division and remains unbeaten but Geraghty has not lost faith.

Geraghty told At The Races: "He seems in good shape. I schooled him a few weeks ago and he felt well.

"He didn't have a serious injury so hopefully he can retain a lot of his ability as he was a good second in a Champion Hurdle.

"With age, he should learn to settle a bit and I'd say that would be the key to him.

"If you're looking for something to take on Faugheen, he was only beaten a neck by Jezki and he pulled like mad that day so he definitely has the ability."
