Dual Arc heroine Treve left Criquette Head-Maarek's stable in Chantilly on Monday to begin her new life as a broodmare.
The five-year-old superstar of French racing will now reside at her owner Sheikh Joann's Haras de Bouquetot stud in Normandy.
"She left on Monday morning and has gone to Sheikh Joann's farm," said Head-Maarek.
"It was an emotional farewell but we are used to doing that.
"She has done so much for us and I think she deserves to go to stud now.
"There were talking of her visiting Dubawi but I'm not sure about that."
Treve won nine of her 13 starts and amassed more than £6million in prize-money.
Six of her victories came at Group One level, including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 2013 and 2014.
However, she could not end her racing days with a record-breaking third triumph in Europe's premier middle-distance race at Longchamp earlier this month, but was not disgraced in finishing fourth behind Golden Horn.
