News of the rest of the action from Doncaster where Jamie Insole rode his first ever winner despite losing an iron.
Every jockey remembers their first ever winner but it will be even harder to forget for Jamie Insole after he lost an iron when scoring on McCabe Creek at Doncaster.
Having travelled sweetly on Alan King's six-year-old, he appeared to be well in control until jumping the last where his saddle slipped.
That gave the 5-1 favourite Charlie Cook a lifeline, but Insole pushed away, cowboy-like, inside the final furlong to win by two and a quarter lengths on the 9-1 chance.
"My saddle slipped a bit and I lost an iron so I decided not to even try and put it back in and just kept pushing," said Insole.
"We've been waiting for him to do something like that but he's been a bit immature.
"We're finally getting to see his ability now and that's my very first winner."
Arthur Moore has achieved an awful lot in his distinguished career but Dandridge (8-1) provided him with a first winner at Doncaster in the Play Channel4 Racing's Pick 6 Handicap Chase.
Confidently ridden by the excellent 5lb claimer Donagh Meyler, the result was never in much doubt throughout.
The seven-year-old jumped up to join long-time leader Red Spinner at the third-last and drew stylishly clear, with bigger targets now upon the horizon.
Just Cameron pluckily stuck on for second, five lengths away, with Gardefort third.
"That's my first winner here, it's only taken my 40-odd years," said Moore.
"He's a good-ground horse and we really fancied him at Fairyhouse last time but it poured down.
"Donagh gave him a great ride. I first spotted him at Sligo in October and have watched him closely ever since. He's based with Tony Martin.
"If he (Dandridge) gets into the Grand Annual we might have a crack at that but I think the race at Aintree (Red Rum Handicap) will suit him better."
