Victoria Pendleton pulls up Working Title at Wadebridge in Cornwall

Victoria Pendleton's latest point-to-point outing ended in disappointment as she pulled up her mount Working Title in the ladies open race at the Western Hunt meeting at Wadebridge.
Pendleton came close to registering her first win in the saddle when Pacha Du Polder was beaten a head at Milborne St Andrew last Sunday and hopes were high the Sam Drinkwater-trained Working Title, who was formerly in the care of Nicky Henderson, could provide her with an inaugural success.
However, after making the early running and pulling well clear at one stage, Working Title appeared to tire towards the end of the three-mile heat and Pendleton pulled up before jumping the last fence.
