Balthazar King to enjoy summer break before decision on future

A decision on Balthazar King's future will be made in the autumn.
The popular 12-year-old was a surprise faller in the cross-country race at Cheltenham last month, his first run since suffering multiple injuries in the Grand National last season.
Hobbs had mooted taking him to France but has instead decided to give him the summer off before deciding whether to continue with the veteran or not.
"He has gone back to his owner's home for his summer break, then we will reconsider it in the autumn," said Hobbs.
"He is fine after Cheltenham, but there is no race for him for some time. He is 12 now so it (retirement) will be sooner rather than later."
