Lingfield takes centre stage on Sky Sports Racing on Good Friday as top trainers, jockeys and all-weather horses go in search of glory at a meeting which is now a major part of the racing calendar.
For best bet material, my eyes are drawn to the Betway All-Weather Sprint Championships Conditions Stakes (3:05).
Kachy will take a huge amount of beating for the Tom Dascombe team. When it comes to left-handed speed based tracks, Kachy is the Lionel Messi of horse racing. He's on a different planet. If odds-on pokes are your thing, then fill your boots, however, my eyes are drawn to the "Without Kachy" market with Sky Bet where MERHOOB (11/1 with Sky Bet: 2pts win) is a wild price.
The seven-year-old has been in the form of his life on the all-weather this winter and brings a record that reads 2221112 on this surface at the track. From stall four with James Doyle booked, I'd be shocked if he's not in the first four chasing Kachy's backside.
Class usually prevails in The Ladbrokes All-Weather Fillies' And Mares' Championships Conditions Stakes (2:30) and RASIMA (4/1 with Sky Bet: 2pts win) has everything in her favour. A sharp, left-handed track is what she needs as shown by two strong performances, backed up by the clock at Yarmouth and her recent win at Lingfield.
Possessing speed around Lingfield's twisty track is a must for any horse that carries my money. SHA LA LA LA LEE (16/1 with Sky Bet: 1pt EW) has that in abundance and can get the day off to a winning start for Dascombe, who has a 22 per cent strike with his horses at the track. The selection has terrific gate speed which will enable him to make his move from the front in the Sun Racing All-Weather Championships Apprentice Handicap (1:30).
WATERSMEET (7/1 with Sky Bet: 1pt EW) was only just run out of things in the closing stages in last year's Betway All-Weather Marathon Championships Conditions Stakes (2:00) and there's no reason to think he won't go very close from the front again. Amade has a sexy winning profile from France but looks very skinny in the market for such a speedy test that awaits him. Take him on with the Mark Johnston runner.
Wissahickon will take all the beating in the Betway Easter Classic All-Weather Middle Distance Championships Conditions Stakes. But the bet has to be to take MATTERHORN (5/1 with Sky Bet: 1pt EW) with each-way stakes, assuming all eight runners are declared, so three places are on offer. He's 2-2 at the track and was backed as if defeat was out of the question at Kempton but he blew out. Simply, we just don't know how good he is and at 5/1 he's the smart play against the favourite.
The finale - Sun Racing All-Weather Mile Championships Conditions Stakes - is a cracking contest and a race that you could run 10 times and get 10 different results. That makes it a tricky betting but heat but I'll be having small stakes on OH THIS IS US (6/1 with Sky Bet: 1pt EW), who won a handicap off 110 at the track earlier this year - the joint-highest mark which has been defied in the last 30 years at the track. A repeat of that will see him go close - but there are dangers aplenty.
Finally, CHARMING KID (9/2 with Sky Bet: 1pt win) can overcome a tricky draw to show his true colours in the Ladbrokes 3 Year Old All-Weather Championships Conditions Stakes (3:40), although it looks a hard race to get an angle into.
Good luck.
