Roodee, Roodee, Roodee, Roodee! Sky Sports Racing is in town as Chester hosts it's showcase event - let's find some winners.

Chester is all about gate speed, especially over the five furlong track. Horses are constantly on the turn so it's very hard to chase down frightening early dash.

SHE CAN BOOGIE (Sky Bet Odds 6/1) looks to have the guns to force the lead in the Boodles Diamond Handicap (3pm) and may take some pegging back.

Her form as a two-year-old is stacking up. Moyassar, who landed a valuable handicap at Newmarket at the weekend, was seen off at Nottingham by Tom Dascombe's game front runner while her third over course and distance from a wide draw in September can be marked up. She rates as the best bet on day one.

Trainer David Evans has a 31 per cent win and place strike rate with his runners in the Lily Agnes Conditions Stakes (1.50pm). He knows what's required in this race and he's chosen to run Windsor winner CHASANDA, who is no 20/1 shot with each-way stakes in mind.

Over the minimum trip, she has the gears to lead up from a middle draw and has a fair chance of holding off Show Me Show Me, who looks the best horse in the race but may not get things his own way from stall eight.

MEHDAAYIH (Sky Bet Odds 3/1) impressed with the way she went about her job at Chelmsford and is taken to take the step up in class in the Cheshire Oaks (2.25pm). John Gosden has a plethora of talent to choose from in terms of his three-year-old fillies, so his runners deserve huge respect when rocking in up in this event, which was the chosen trial for superstar filly Enable in 2017. Mehdaayih isn't in her class but looks a Group filly in the making.

It's doubtful that we'll see a Derby contender in the Chester Vase (3.35pm) but KING OTTOKAR (Sky Bet odds 3/1) looks to have conditions in his favour to make a big play for this prize. With the rain falling, he'll have the perfect scenario to gallop his rivals into submission, although small stakes are advised as this is a race full of potential improvers.

Recommended bets:
