We have a busy day’s racing on Friday with action from Chepstow, Wolverhampton and Meydan, live on Sky Sports Racing...
2.40 Chepstow - Juby Ball and The Four Sixes do battle
An excellent Chepstow 11th April Grand National Raceday Novices' Limited Handicap Chase where Juby Ball and The Four Sixes clash.
Juby Ball has taken well to fences winning at Carlisle before falling when going well at Ffos Las. He failed to concede 10 pounds to Stencil here last month but that was another solid effort, and this extra distance might prove to be his optimum.
Olly Murphy's The Four Sixes must give plenty of weight to his three rivals but arrives on the back of a facile success at Kelso and he could have more to offer under Sean Bowen.
- Haiti Couleurs 7/1 for Gold Cup after easy Denman Chase success
- Connell backing Marine Nationale to bridge Majborough gap
Gamesters Guy beat a useful rival at Doncaster before failing to run up to expectations at Windsor and will need to jumper slicker if he is to feature.
Willmount completes the quartet.
1.40 Chepstow - Bossman Jack a big player for Skelton team
Bossman Jack faces 15 rivals in this opening fairplaybet.co.uk Novices' Hurdle.
Dan Skelton's six-year-old was a useful bumper performer and built on a decent debut to see off Starzand in a Ffos Las novices' hurdle last time. Connections feel he has plenty to learn, and this could be a perfect next step for this progressive novice hurdler.
Of the others, Rebecca Curtis' point winner Doujadou is worth a watch in the markets, while I'm Wide Awake and Emerald Breeze are the pick of the rest.
7.45 Wolverhampton - Recent winners El Bufalo and Alondra feature
Recent winners El Bufalo and Alondra clash in a competitive Join The Midnite Movement Handicap at Wolverhampton.
El Bufalo recorded a fourth all-weather success when keeping on well to score over this trip and track last month, taking his record with cheekpieces to two wins from three starts. Another bold bid can be expected despite a five-pound rise.
Alondra is the chief threat for Scott Dixon and Kieran O'Neill. He stayed on gamely to land a course and distance handicap on Monday and must be feared on just his third start for these connections.
Another to note is Sam's Express who has been in winning form and ran with credit when beaten at Lingfield on his last outing.
Best of the rest
2.10 Chepstow - Aqua Bleu seeks a hat-trick for the Greatrex yard but the 520,000gns-purchase Merci Mam could be the main danger.
3.10 Chepstow - Jalisco Star faces Princess Keri.
6.15 Wolverhampton - Fair fillies' novice with Artanis a likely type for Hector Crouch and George Boughey.
6.45 Wolverhampton - Class Four contest where Diamondonthehill tops four runners.
Another competitive card from Meydan.
Saudi Arabia - Jockeys Challenge with Billy Loughnane, Saffie Osborne and Hollie Doyle all involved.
10.23 Chantilly - Class One contest where Sagano could make it three on the bounce for Francis-Henri Graffard.
