We have a busy day’s racing on Saturday with flat action from Chester, Newbury and Newcastle, live on Sky Sports Racing...

2.12 Newbury - Arapaho Gold defends his unbeaten record

Arapaho Gold defends his unbeaten record in a brilliant edition of this Group Two Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stales at Newbury.

Michael Dods' star juvenile arrives having landed all four starts to date with the highlight coming in the Group Two Gimcrack Stakes at York. That form has been franked by the second horse and he ought to prove tough to beat despite a three-pound penalty.

Andrew Balding's Jolivette heads the dangers under Colin Keane. The sole filly in the line-up, she produced her best effort yet when third behind Libertango at York and she remains capable of better.

Cut A Dash was fourth in the Coventry Stakes but is yet to confirm that form, while Nabati is another live contender for Charlie Appleby. Third behind Forbidden Fire in the Flying Scotsman, he could be suited by the dip back to six furlongs.

1.02 Newbury - Redorange and Starlust fancied for Group Three glory

Redorange and Starlust lock horns in a trappy Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes at 1.02pm.

Clive Cox saddles Redorange who has leading claims under new pilot Callum Rodriguez. An improving type, he has enjoyed a fruitful campaign landing the Listed City Walls at York in July. Well beaten in the Nunthorpe, this should be easier.

Starlust, winner of the 2024 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, he is yet to win since but has been knocking on the door of late with a second in the Nunthorpe and a fourth at the Curragh. This looks an ideal opportunity to land a Group Three pot.

Last year's 1-2 First Instinct and Shagraan look best of the rest in an open field, while Naana's Sparkle heads up in class after his Goodwood handicap victory.

1.37 Newbury - Progressive Primo Lara takes on French Duke

Progressive Primo Lara takes on French Duke in a competitive Dubai Duty Free Autumn Cup at 1.37pm.

The Jane Chapple-Hyam-trained Primo Lara has been in fine form since joining from Jack Morland. The five-year-old scored with a bit in hand at Kempton to take his record to two wins from three starts for new connections and Ryan Moore is an eye-catching booking.

French Duke ran his best race in some time when an excellent second at York last time and while the handicapper hasn't missed him, another bold bid should be expected.

Alan King's Insanity is 2lbs lower than when second at Pontefract back in April, while Pearl River has a feather weight and rates an each-way player.
