Haydock will inspect again at 7am ahead of Friday's meeting having passed a planned inspection.

Clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright will hold another precautionary check with the track currently raceable.

"We passed the inspection this morning," said Tellwright.

"We've had a dry morning and we expect to race - if the forecasts are correct.

"I just want measures in place in case we get hit by a heavy shower."
