Richard Fahey: My Super five

Realtra: Big chance at these weights

Richard Fahey's guide to his five Weatherbys Super Sprint runners and the rest of his Saturday team.

The Weatherbys Super Sprint is a race I love to win but if you gave me £1000, I don’t think I’d be able to say which of my five this year would finish in front of the other four.

You have to look to Realtra who is well in here off her rating. She’s in good form but I’m just a fraction worried five furlongs at Newbury may be sharp enough for her. There are no concerns over that with Diamond Creek for whom it’s the perfect trip. That might just level those two up.

Bond’s Girl is in good order, she worked well last week and has no weight on her back. She’s better than her finishing position at Royal Ascot would suggest and this has been the plan all year. I’d just worry Tachaphobia might find it a little sharp too but he’s improving and I wouldn’t put a line through him. I was a little surprised – but very pleased – that Spirit Of Zeb got in. We weren’t shocked to see him run well at Nottingham the last day despite his big price. He's improving.

The Go Racing In Yorkshire Festival starts at Ripon on Saturday. It would be nice to be among the winners on the track – and in the Magnificent Seven Tipping Challenge off it.

Tagtale is first up in the Dobsons Gaskets Selling Stakes. She’s been disappointing as she works like she should be winning races like this but has been a little reluctant to show it on the track. Rain would help.

It wouldn’t go amiss for Mccarthy Mor in the Go Racing In Yorkshire Maiden Handicap. He’s another to have disappointed somewhat but then none of these have won a race and he has the form in the book to run a big race.

English Summer has been a bit busy of late but Marwan Koukash was keen to run in the Book Your Christmas Party At Haydock Park Handicap and the horse is in good form. He should run his race.

I thought Loom Of Life ran a really nice race first time up at Doncaster and he’s sure to improve from it in the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes. He’s a nice horse who will run well although you never quite know what you're up against in races like this.

Finally Rangi Chase goes in the closing Download New Racing UK iPad App Handicap. He's another that's been a bit disappointing and recently it seems he's decided he quite likes finishing fourth. We go back up to a mile here and I think that's his best trip.
