Horse racing: Waterlogged Fontwell inspects and adandons

Fontwell's jumps meeting on Wednesday has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
With areas of standing water on the track, the West Sussex venue was always going to be up against it when course officials staged a 9am inspection.
And so it proved, as seven millimetres of overnight rainfall further compromised the chances of racing.
The track has now had to endure 41mm of rain since last Sunday.
